3. Scope of Services

Clarius provides:

  • Domestic and commercial Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) in line with UK regulations.

  • Site assessments performed by qualified and accredited energy assessors.

  • Support in improving energy efficiency and compliance with current property legislation.

We do not guarantee specific energy ratings or outcomes and are not responsible for decisions made based on the EPC results.

4. Booking and Payment Terms

  • Bookings must be made via our website or through an authorised representative.

  • Full payment is typically required at the time of booking unless prior arrangements are made.

  • We reserve the right to refuse or cancel services at our sole discretion.

  • Prices are clearly displayed on the website and are subject to change without notice.

5. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

  • Cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance will receive a full refund.

  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a £50 cancellation fee.

  • If the property is inaccessible at the agreed time, we reserve the right to treat the visit as a late cancellation and apply a call-out fee.

  • You may reschedule appointments with at least 24 hours’ notice, subject to availability.

6. Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide full, accurate, and up-to-date information about the property.

  • Ensure safe, unrestricted access to all relevant areas of the property on the agreed date/time.

  • Notify us promptly if there are any delays or issues that could affect the assessment.

  • Ensure someone over 18 is present during the visit, if required.

  • Cooperate with our assessors and comply with any reasonable requests during the inspection.

7. Reports and Deliverables

  • All EPCs and reports are delivered in digital format, typically within 48 hours of the site visit.

  • Reports are based on observations and information available at the time of inspection.

  • We are not responsible for inaccuracies caused by inaccessible areas, hidden defects, or inaccurate information provided by the client.

8. Data Protection and Privacy

We collect, process, and store personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. For details on how your data is used, please see our Privacy Policy.

  • Your personal information will only be used to deliver our services and communicate with you.

  • We do not sell or share your data with third parties, except as necessary to complete the service (e.g. lodging the EPC with the appropriate register).

9. Intellectual Property
